Apparently Donte did flash his lights at Mr. Reyes and was within 10 mph of the speed limit. Donte was quoted as saying
“I hit the man LYING in the road”.
It may be the case that Donte will end up not serving any time and the charges being dropped if the evidence proves these statements true.
